Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a comic book series created by writer George Gladir and artist Dan DeCarlofirst first published in 1962 by Archie Comics. The story follows the adventures of Sabrina Spellman a “half-witch” due to her mother being an ordinary human and her father being a witch. She lives with her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda Spellman, both witches themselves. Sabrina’s stories take place in the fictional town of Greendale located somewhere near Riverdale, not too far from the home of Archie Andrews.
In January 2018, actress Kiernan Shipka signed on to play the lead role of Sabrina Spellman in the Netflix series, titled The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
