The Will Trent book series is written by Karin Slaughter and consists of 11 books in total.

The books have been adapted as an ABC series named Will Trent with Ramón Rodríguez starring in the title role. The series follows Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) as he uses his unique point of view to make sure no one is abandoned like he was. The show airs on Tuesday’s at 10/9c and can be streamed on Hulu.

Triptych

Triptych is the first novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2006 and follows Special Agent Will Trent as he investigates a series of brutal murders in Atlanta. This novel features the introduction of Will Trent, Faith Mitchell, and Angie Polaski. It is a gripping and suspenseful novel with unexpected plot twists and an intense climax.

Fractured

Fractured is the second novel in the Will Trent book series. It was published in 2008 and follows Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent Will Trent as he investigates a shocking murder/kidnapping case involving some of the wealthiest and most powerful families in Atlanta. It features unpredictable plot twists and endearing characters.

Genesis

Genesis is the third novel in Karin Slaughter’s Will Trent book series. Published in 2009, it follows Will Trent and his partner Faith Mitchell as they investigate a series of grisly murders. This novel introduces the characters of Angie Polaski and Angie’s daughter, who become close allies of Will and Faith. It is a fast-paced, gripping thriller with a complex plot and a shocking twist.

Broken

Broken is the fourth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2010 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a string of brutal murders in Atlanta. This novel also features the return of Grant County characters Sara Linton and Jeffrey Tolliver, as well as the introduction of new characters.

Fallen

Fallen is the fifth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2011 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a serial killer targeting homeless women in Atlanta. This novel features the return of Sara Linton, Jeffrey Tolliver and Angie Polaski, and introduces a new character, Dr. Sara Linton. It is an engrossing and gripping novel with a complex plot and intense climax.

Criminal

Criminal is the sixth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2012 and follows Will Trent and Amanda Wagner as they investigate a forty-year-old cold case. This novel features the return of Faith Mitchell, Jeffrey Tolliver and Sara Linton, as well as the introduction of new characters. It is a gripping and suspenseful novel with unexpected twists and an intense climax.

Unseen

Unseen is the seventh novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2013 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a murder linked to a powerful political family. This novel features the return of Sara Linton and Amanda Wagner, as well as the introduction of new characters. 

The Kept Woman

The Kept Woman is the eighth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2016 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a series of murders linked to a construction site in Atlanta.

Busted

Busted is the ninth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2018 and follows Will Trent and Amanda Wagner as they investigate a cold case that has been reopened for the first time in decades. This novel features the return of Faith Mitchell, Sara Linton and Jeffrey Tolliver, as well as the introduction of new characters.

Snatched

Snatched is the tenth novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2019 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a series of disappearances in Atlanta. This novel features the return of Sara Linton and Amanda Wagner, as well as the introduction of new characters.

Blighted

Blighted is the eleventh novel in the Will Trent series. It was published in 2020 and follows Will Trent and Faith Mitchell as they investigate a series of murders in a small town in Georgia. This novel features the return of Sara Linton and Amanda Wagner, as well as the introduction of new characters.

Ramón Rodríguez

Ramón Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican American actor probably best known to TV fans for playing Detective Ryan Lopez in the Fox series ‘Gang Related’ and to moviegoers for his role as John Bosley in the 2011 reboot of Charlie’s Angels.

He began his career on series television, landing recurring roles on several acclaimed series, including “Rescue Me” (FX, 2004-2011) and “The Wire” (HBO, 2006-2008). He has also appeared in the films Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009), Bella (2006), Pride and Glory (2008), and Surfer, Dude (2008). Recently, he starred as Matt Morales in the drama biopic Megan Leavey (2017), and as Bakuto in both the Netflix series Iron Fist and The Defenders.
